On May 9, Security Forces (SFs) recovered arms and ammunition, including one 7.62 Self-Loading Rifle (SLR) with magazine, one 9 mm Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) carbine with magazine, one Chinese hand grenade with detonator, two M16 rifle magazines, 50 live rounds of ammunition of different calibres, one radio wireless set with two chargers, and one telescope from Awa Ching and adjoining foothill areas under Porompat-PS in Imphal East District of Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. No arrests were reported in connection with the recovery.
