The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres destroyed a communications tower equipped with surveillance and monitoring devices and set its machinery ablaze in the Malaar Dhamb area of Kolwah tehsil (revenue unit) in Awaran District of Balochistan on May 7, reports Zrumbesh. The BLF claimed responsibility for the attack. According to a statement issued by BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch, when personnel from a nearby military camp attempted to surround the cadres from multiple directions, the cadres responded and forced them to retreat, inflicting further casualties.
