At least 15 Policemen were killed while three others sustained injuries in a suicide bombing and subsequent militant attack on a Police checkpost in Fateh Khel area of Bannu District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan, reports Dawn. Militants reportedly rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the Fateh Khel Police checkpost and later stormed the site, triggering the collapse of the structure. According to Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu Sajjad Khan, a total of 18 Police personnel were present at the post at the time of the attack, of whom 15 were martyred and three sustained injuries. No group has claimed responsibility of the attack so far.
