Civilians were killed and injured when three Myanmar military gyrocopters bombed the Letpan To oil field on the border of Myaing and Pauk townships in Magway Region today, Red Peacock News has learned from Myaing PDF sources.

An official from Myaing PDF stated, "A bomb landed directly on a machinery shop, and the shop caught fire. The rest of the family members were not harmed because they entered a bomb shelter. He died because he didn't get into the shelter in time."

The three gyrocopters, which flew in from the Northwestern Command in Monywa, targeted the Letpan To oil field.

Another military news source confirmed that the three gyrocopters dropped a total of two bombs.
