On May 10, revolutionary forces launched a mine attack against a military column consisting of Light Infantry Division 33 and Pyu Saw Htee militia members from Bant Bway village as they were advancing from Ta Yaw Kyin village in Yinmarbin Township toward Chaung Ma village in Kani Township.

According to the statement from Strategic Force 47, approximately ten personnel from the Myanmar military side, including one Pyu Saw Htee member, are believed to have been injured or killed.
