A military column led by the tactical commander of the Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 266 was ambushed in Hakha, Chin State, resulting in three deaths and many others, including the tactical commander and high-ranking officers, being severely injured.

Yesterday, May 14, a group led by the tactical commander from LIB-266 in Hakha set out to welcome a military column of approximately 500 personnel marching from Falam.

As they moved out around 10:20 AM yesterday, CDF-Hakha and joint Chin forces launched a surprise attack near the 6-way intersection in Hakha using drones and heavy artillery shells.
