A man was detained in Kyiv after he shot an opponent 9 times during a conflict – police.
Law enforcement officers detained a man who, during a conflict in the Obolon district of the capital, shot his opponent 9 times and fled in a car.
Law enforcement officers literally : "During the conflict that arose between the men, the suspect took out a revolver and fired about nine shots into various parts of the 27-year-old victim's body. The latter did not sustain serious injuries. After that, the attacker got into a car and drove away from the scene of the crime."
Details : The shooting occurred on Obolonsky Avenue. The police immediately launched a special police operation, focusing their efforts on searching for the perpetrator. It turned out that a 38-year-old local resident was involved in the crime.
The shooter's car was stopped in another area of the city. Investigators seized a revolver chambered for Flaubert from the vehicle.
The man was detained and charged with "hooliganism with the use of an object specially adapted to inflict bodily harm."
The sanction of this article provides for up to 7 years in prison.
A Kyiv police spokeswoman clarified to the Ukrainian News Agency that the incident occurred on May 6, but was only reported on May 13.
