An official from the Shwe Tan Myay People’s Defense Organization (PDO) told Khit Thit Media that an attack on the Kun Chan military checkpoint located on the Yangon-Pyay Road in Letpadan Township, Bago Region, resulted in military casualties and the destruction of several bunkers.

At approximately 7:30 PM on May 9, revolutionary forces launched an assault using 40mm grenades and small arms against the Kun Chan checkpoint, where about 20 terrorist soldiers were stationed along the Yangon-Pyay highway.

The engagement lasted about 15 minutes. It is reported that several members of the terrorist military were wounded and the bunkers within the checkpoint were damaged.
