Attacks on a military column and a police station in Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, resulted in military casualties, according to a statement from the Launglon Iron Butterfly Force and local military sources.
On May 7, while a military column of about 100 soldiers from Launglon town was advancing toward Wadi village, revolutionary forces used drones to drop two bombs on the Launglon Myoma Police Station. Additionally, at approximately 4:45 PM that same evening, four bombs were dropped via drone on the terrorist soldiers advancing through Wadi village.
Following the attacks, the terrorist military retaliated with heavy artillery fire, but revolutionary comrades were able to retreat without any casualties. While there were confirmed casualties on the military side during the operation, the exact numbers have not yet been confirmed.
