At approximately 7:30 AM today, May 8, a jet fighter from the Tad-U Air Base bombed the eastern part of Mindat with four bombs. Similarly, at around 12:44 PM, another jet fighter from Tad-U Air Base dropped bombs and incendiary devices on Mindat.

While damage and casualties have been reported following the aerial attacks, specific details have not yet been confirmed.
