Local residents told Khit Thit Media that one civilian was shot and killed by the terrorist military in Hmaw Si Zar village, Hpakant, Kachin State.

On the afternoon of May 8, the terrorist military stationed on the Hmaw Si Zar village pagoda hill opened fire randomly with small arms. During the shooting, a civilian near the Hmaw Si Zar village monastery was hit by a bullet and died on the spot.
