Other MoA event in Chin State, Tedim Township area, Myanmar on Wed 6th May 2026

More than 20 soldiers were killed and 7 weapons were seized in an attack on a military convoy and column heading to Falam Township, Chin State, according to the CDF CDM-Siyin group.

Yesterday, May 6, the CDF CDM-Siyin group conducted an ambush between Hiang Zing village and Taysan village against a military convoy traveling from Kalay to Falam to transport non-CDM staff. During the attack, five personnel—including one captain from the 77th Division, one second lieutenant, and three soldiers—were killed on the spot. A total of four weapons (three long guns and one pistol) were seized.

Additionally, one Faucar truck was seized, while two other vehicles were damaged. Aside from the drivers, all other soldiers on those vehicles were reportedly injured. It was noted that the attack was carried out specifically to avoid the vehicles carrying the non-CDM staff.
