At least 21 Taliban militants were killed in Yawan District in Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan on July 31, reports Bakhtar News Agency. The 217th Pamir Corps in a newsletter said, the Taliban, including three prominent ‘commanders’ and two foreign militants, were killed in an airstrike in Yawan District of the Province, adding that Maulvi Waliullah, a Taliban judge for Yawan District, and ten others were injured in the attack. Some weapons of the Taliban were also destroyed in this attack.
