At least 22 Taliban militants were killed in clashes between the Taliban and security and defence forces in Takhar Province of Afghanistan on July 31, reports Bakhtar News Agency. Khalil Asir, spokesman for the Takhar Police Chief said, the armed Taliban militants carried out large-scale attacks on several military bases in the villages of Qara Parchab, Panjshiri Gheshlagh, Abdal and around the airport, which sustain losses. Spokesman, Asir, added, 22 Taliban killed and 17 other injured in this clash and some Taliban weapons were seized by Security Forces (SFs), however, there were no harm and casualties incurred to SFs in the operation.
