On 5 May 2026, Russian Forces launched drone strikes at Kherson, Kherson, injuring 3 civilians in the city. During the day, Russian strikes and shelling damaged social infrastructure, residential buildings, including 3 apartment buildings and 13 houses, a cell tower, storage facilities, ambulances and cars; 1 civilian was killed and 10 civilians were injured in the Kherson region. One more civilian injured on that day sought medical attention on May 8.
