On 4 May 2026, near Kyauk Htu town (Tilin township, Gangaw district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes with a Y-12 aircraft from Tada-U airbase and dropped thirty-four 60mm bombs eight times. The Myanmar military No. 368 Artillery Operations Command (AOC-368) also fired 120mm shells towards the border of Mindat and Yaw townships. Casualties unknown.
