On 6 May 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting an apartment using three missiles in Ghobeiry (Baabda, Mount Lebanon). The Israeli military claimed it targeted the commander of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force, Ahmad Ballout. Hezbollah did not confirm his death. Two individuals were killed and seven others were injured.
