On 8 May 2026, Hezbollah forces in Lebanon fired a barrage of several rockets toward Nahariyya (Akko, HaZafon) and surrounding areas. Most of the rockets fell in open areas near Nahariyya. No casualties occurred. Hezbollah forces claimed to target an IDF base south of Nahariyya with the barrage in retaliation for a recent IDF airstrike on Beirut.
