On 4 May 2026, Hezbollah launched a drone, with bombs, at a newly established Israeli command position in El Bayada (Tyr, South), injuring 1 Israeli soldier. Hezbollah also fired a rocket salvo at an Israeli force inside a residential home at 15:50, and at 17:30 fired another rocket salvo at an Israeli forces gathering of tanks and soldiers. At 23:45, Hezbollah fired a guided missile at a Merkava tank at the same location, hitting its target, causing fire to breakout inside the tank. The IDF stated that there was 1 soldier injured (likely in this location).
