On 5 May 2026, night, unidentified military forces struck the Shib Deraz Port (Qeshm Island, Hormozgan). At least 2 explosions were heard in the area (coded as air/drone strikes by default). Jet sounds were also heard in some areas of the sountern Iran. Details are unclear at this point in time. This event occurred following two-week ceasefire agreed between the US, Israel and Iran on 7 April, in the context of the recent Strait of Hormuz escalation.
