On 2 May 2026, in a rural area of El Jardin (San Pablo, Bolivar), a woman was killed and four people were injured following the detonation of an explosive device dropped from a drone in the Las Calungas vereda, in an area known as Mina Quemada. According to accounts from relatives, the victims were engaged in illegal mining activities at the time of the attack. The area is known to have a presence of the Gulf Clan, the ELN, and EMBF FARC dissident groups. 1 fatality.
