Details : The incident occurred on May 9 in one of the districts of Cherkasy . No one called the police – they learned about the incident while monitoring social networks.

According to police, the initial conflict arose because children were picking lilacs near a private homestead.

The man tried to catch up with the minors, and when that failed , he took a gun out of the house and started shooting, the spokeswoman explained .

No one was injured. Police have not yet identified the shooter.
