Three family members were killed instantly and four other locals were severely injured when the military used drones and aircraft to target residents fleeing a military column in two villages in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region.

In the early morning of yesterday (May 7), a column of approximately 150 soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia members from the town of Ngazun entered Min Jo and Taung Lel Taw villages, located about 40 miles southwest of Mandalay. A 30-year-old male resident from Min Jo village described the attack:
