In Lviv, a man, upon seeing CCC servicemen, sprayed tear gas and took a girl hostage. She was released, and the attacker was detained.

Details : The incident occurred on May 9 at around 4:30 PM on Kavaleridze Street in Lviv.
Literally the police : "Upon seeing the CCC soldiers, a passerby sprayed tear gas, then grabbed a girl who was walking nearby and put a knife to her neck.
Through joint coordinated actions, the police officer and military personnel of the CCC detained the attacker and released the 13-year-old Lviv girl. Fortunately, the girl was not injured…
Law enforcement officers identified the attacker, a 43-year-old resident of Lviv, and detained him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine."
Details : Based on the facts, investigators of the territorial police unit, under the procedural guidance of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor's Office, initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 146 (Unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for the same term.
A pre-trial investigation is underway, and the issue of informing the detainee of the suspicion is being resolved.
In turn, the regional CCC reported that at around 6:30 p.m., servicemen from the Sykhiv RTCC and SP, together with police representatives, neutralized the dangerous attacker.
Literally, the CCC : "One of the citizens began to behave aggressively and unpredictably: he took out a knife and a gas can, after which he grabbed one of the girls from the group of teenagers and put a knife to her throat.
The servicemen were forced to react quickly. Thanks to confident and coordinated actions, the attacker was neutralized. The girl is currently fine, she was frightened."
