An airstrike by the military junta's air force in Kyaukkyi Township, an area under the Karen National Union (KNU) 3rd Brigade, killed a 15-year-old child and injured five others, the KNU announced on April 30.

The KNU stated that the casualties occurred after the military air force used jet fighters to carry out five air raids on Leh Mu Thaw village in Kyaukkyi Township on April 24.
