SAA event in Colombia on Sat 9th May 2026

In a sustained offensive by troops from the 11th Light Infantry Battalion "Cacique Nutibara" of the #FourthBrigade of the @COL_EJERCITO (Colombian Army), seven members of the Clan del Golfo cartel were neutralized in recent days in southwestern Antioquia. During the military operations, three rifles, 11 magazines, more than 400 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, explosives, communications equipment, and supplies were also seized. This significant operational result disrupts the criminal capabilities of this organized armed group and strengthens the security of communities in this subregion of the department.
