Red Peacock news media has learned from military sources that civilians were killed when the Myanmar military bombed Thit Chauk Khin and Shar Pin Shaung villages along the Sittaung River in Phyu Township, Bago Region.

Local residents confirmed that this airstrike occurred on the east bank of the Sittaung River around 1:30 PM today.

Video footage released by locals shows three male bodies, one charred male body, destroyed trailers, and several local residents clearing the area.

According to information provided by a local revolutionary force member, the Myanmar military used four fighter jets, one Mi-35 attack helicopter, and Y-12 aircraft to bomb Thit Chauk Khin and Shar Pin Nyaung villages.
