An official from Myingyan District Battalion 11 (TGYR - Youth Guerrilla Counter Revolution - NZ) told Red Peacock news media that they conducted a landmine attack against a Myanmar military drone column near Myin Thar village, Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, and also removed landmines.

On May 3, People's Defense Force comrades launched the landmine attack as the Myanmar military column was entering Myin Thar village. Myingyan District Battalion 11 reported that two soldiers sustained serious injuries in the attack.

According to the battalion's statement, the coup military forces that arrived at Myin Thar village also used drones to bomb and destroy civilian forest huts.

Myingyan District Battalion 11 stated that while revolutionary comrades were performing area clearance, they cleared two landmines suspected to have been used by the Myanmar military to ensure the safety of the public.
