On April 30, a policeman, identified as Noorfanullah, was killed in a gunfight with terrorists after an attack on a police post in the remote Shadikhel area in Bittani Sub-division in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports Dawn. A police official said, “It was a multi-pronged attack, but the law enforcers repulsed it effectively”, adding that an intense exchange of fire lasted for some time, during which Constable Noorfanullah was martyred.
