A soldier was killed in a sniper gunshot when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres attacked the main military camp in Tirteej area of Awaran District in Balochistan on April 29, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility of the attack, the BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch in a statement said the attack began with a sniper strike that killed a soldier on guard, followed by fire from LMGs and other heavy weapons, causing further losses and damage inside the camp.
