The Karen National Union announced today that it attacked and captured a coup military checkpoint located between Nyaunglebin and Kyauktaga Townships in Bago Region on the night of May 2.

The KNU stated that the post was the Railway Bridge 147 Checkpoint, situated between Peinzaloke Town and Thu Htay Kone Village.
