On May 5, a low-intensity blast took place near the boundary wall of the Army cantonment area on Khasa road in Amritsar District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. No casualties were reported. The blast damaged a tin sheet mounted on the wall meant to obstruct the view. Police, Army and Bomb Disposal Squad teams conducted searches at the site.
