A major attack struck the heart of Surab city (Surab District) in Balochistan on May 4 after unidentified insurgents launched coordinated assaults on a Security Forces (SFs) camp and the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Surab District, reports Zrumbesh. Heavy gunfire and loud explosions were heard across the city following the attack. Fierce exchange of fire continued at the time of last reports, and the situation remained highly tense.
