The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres attacked a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint with rockets and grenade launchers on Gazi Road in Kharan city (Kharan District) of Balochistan on May 3, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility of the attack, the BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch in a statement said that the shells landed inside the post and caused casualties and material losses. The statement alleged that Security Forces (SFs) opened indiscriminate fire on surrounding civilians after the attack and attempted to pursue the cadres with quadcopters. The BLF claimed its cadres reached safe locations.
