SAA event in Balochistan, Naag-Grari, Washuk District area, Pakistan on Sat 2nd May 2026
2nd May 2026
Two “death squad” (state-backed armed militia) members, identified them as Amanullah, son of Jumma, and Sajjad, son of Ghulam Qadir, were killed when Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Naag-Grari area of Washuk District in Balochistan on May 2, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility of the attack, the BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch in a statement said that Amanullah and Sajjad were involved in setting up temporary checkpoints and extorting money from vehicles. The BLF said its cadres seized two Kalashnikovs and a motorcycle from the men. It said this was the second such operation in Naag-Grari in a short period, referring to a March 17 attack in the same area in which it claimed three “death squad” operatives were killed and one man was taken into its custody.
