Projectile event in Balochistan, Sanni, Kachhi District area, Pakistan on Sat 2nd May 2026

The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) attacked Security Forces (SFs) camp with heavy weapons in the Sanni area of Kachhi District in Balochistan on the night of May 2, reports Zrumbesh. The BRG claimed responsibility for the attack. According to a statement issued by BRG ‘spokesperson’ Dostain Baloch, BRG cadres surrounded the SF camp from all sides late Saturday night and launched an intense assault using rocket launchers, light machine guns (LMGs), and other heavy weapons. Multiple SF personnel were reported killed and wounded in the attack, the group claimed. The BRG statement further claimed that cadres destroyed an installed surveillance camera during the operation, targeting the SFs’ monitoring capabilities in the area.
