On May 1, a Police constable was killed when militants targeted an armoured police vehicle with a rocket and sniper attack during a routine patrol at Kingar Jan Bahadar near the Fatah Khel police post in Mandan Police Station (PS) in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports Dawn. According to the police, the sudden assault caused severe damage to the vehicle, leaving the driver, a constable, critically injured, and he later succumbed to his injuries.
