On May 1, Security Forces (SFs) neutralised a terrorist hideout and recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, including one carbine with magazine, one pistol with magazine, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) with one 51 mm round, four electric detonators, 97 rounds of 9 mm live ammunition, 18 rounds of 7.62 mm live ammunition, approximately one kilogram of explosive substance (PEK), one Kenwood radio set and two Motorola radio sets, among other items, in the forested Chhatroo sector Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reportedDaily Excelsior. The hideout was unearthed in the Dharbi Bajmandoo forest area of Sigdi Bhata during a search operation that had been underway since March 31 across the Dolgam, Janseer and Kandwar areas.
