The Southern Yesagyo Coalition announced today that seven members of the Myanmar military were killed during a battle at the Taung Oh village checkpoint in Yesagyo Township, Magway Region.

It is reported that the Southern Yesagyo Coalition opened fire on forces under the Myanmar military at the Taung Oh checkpoint on April 30.

The Southern Yesagyo Coalition stated that six police officers and one soldier from Light Infantry Battalion 258 were killed.

Revolutionary forces seized 2 G3 rifles, 1 MA3 rifle, 1 MA13, 1 revolver, 4 G3 magazines, 2 MA13 magazines, 4 phones, 1 knife, and 2 belts from the Myanmar military.
