An official from the Scorpions People's Defense Force told Khit Thit Media that an attack on a convoy carrying members of the terrorist military and the Thida Yu Mon Pyu Saw Htee group resulted in the deaths of 25 soldiers and one officer.

On April 27, at approximately 9:30 am, revolutionary forces intercepted the convoy at a location on the Myingyan-Nyaung-U road. The clash reportedly lasted for about 45 minutes.

During the battle, two vehicles carrying soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members were successfully attacked and destroyed. Furthermore, revolutionary forces were able to carry out a landmine attack against two 12-wheeled trucks that had been dispatched from Nyaung-U to provide reinforcements to the scene.
