Local residents told Khit Thit Media that two civilians, including an 11-year-old child, were killed after the terrorist army launched heavy artillery shells at Nanmar town and nearby villages in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State.
On April 28, at approximately 10:00 am, the terrorist army’s 385th Artillery Battalion fired heavy weapons into residential wards and villages in Nanmar, claiming that KIA troops had arrived in the town.
One heavy artillery shell fired by the terrorist army exploded in Taung Inn Village near the town, killing an 11-year-old child on the spot. Shells also hit Shwe Pyi Aye Ward within the town, where a man was decapitated and killed instantly. Furthermore, two other civilians were injured and are currently receiving treatment at Mohnyin and Myitkyina hospitals.
