Two people have been arrested after an explosion in Kortedala in Gothenburg on Friday night.
After midnight, on Friday night, the police were alerted to an explosion in a residential area.
– We can see that something has exploded but there is no damage to the facade or injuries, says police spokesperson Jens Andersson.
He describes it as a minor explosion on a house facade.
– We set up roadblocks and can determine quite quickly that there is nothing dangerous left.
Two men, aged 50 and 45, were arrested overnight on suspicion of public destruction, molestation and violations of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
According to the police, it does not appear to be gang-related.
The blockades were lifted later that night.
