Stolen weapons from a private security company resurfaced in Ojinaga, discarded inside a wrecked pickup truck near the Conchos River. The discovery came after a black Dodge Ram was tracked by cameras from the Centinela Platform, linked to a robbery committed hours earlier in the city of Chihuahua. The trail led state police to a dirt road where, upon arrival, the heat beat down on the twisted metal of the abandoned vehicle. There they found four .380 caliber Glock pistols, five empty magazines, and 53 rounds of various calibers scattered inside the vehicle, confirming it was the same one stolen from the company Nuevo Grupo Trece. Ojinaga, a border crossing with Presidio, Texas, has been used on several occasions as a corridor for moving vehicles and weapons across the border. This type of discovery fits a pattern: stolen vehicles that are used briefly and then discarded after lightning operations. All the seized items were collected and sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office, while the line of investigation remains open to locate those who carried out the robbery and the transfer of the arsenal.
