A man was arrested by federal authorities in Chiapas after being found in possession of six firearms and 2,750 rounds of ammunition while traveling on a bus bound for central Mexico. Agents of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), in coordination with the State Police, made the arrest on the Ocozocoautla-Malpaso highway, on the border with Tabasco. The operation took place at a checkpoint set up by agents of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC).
