On 1 May 2026, according to Russian sources, all night long, Ukrainian forces carried out massive (coded as air/drone) strikes at the energy infrastructure in the Russian-held parts of the Zaporizhia region (coded to Melitopol city, Zaporizhia). According to local sources, a number of energy objects and relevant equipment sustained damage. Following the strikes, the partial power outages were reported in the region. Casualties unknown.
