On 27 April 2026, in the morning, Russian forces carried out massive drone strikes (with at least 18 drones) at the energy infrastructure and industrial facilities in Koriukivka, Chernihiv. Following the drone strikes, the energy infrastructure facility and 2 industrial enterprises (woodworking plant and wallpaper factory) were destroyed, several nearby residential buildings were damaged and fires broke out. A 42-year-old employee of one of the enterprises and an 81-year-old man were injured. Moreover, 4,500 subscribers were left without electricity.
