On 27 April 2026, in Myingyan township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the combined troops of the Scorpions People Defense Force (Taung Thar), the Burmese Guerrilla Force, People's Defense Force - Myingyan District Battalion - 3, the People's Defense Force - Nyaung-U District Battalion - 5 and the People's Defense Force - Taungtha (PaKaPha) attacked the Myanmar military troops in two 12-wheeled trucks that advanced from Nyaung-U town as reinforcement with mines. Casualties unknown.
