On 25 April 2026, in Long Hkin village (Hpakant township, Mohnyin district, Kachin state), the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and its allies conducted drone strikes against the Myanmar military and People's Militia Force stationed at the old hospital in Lone Hkin Goke Kwin since the morning, and local cemetery, around 12:00 pm. The drone strike killed 12 Myanmar military soldiers and injured some soldiers. The dead bodies and injured soldiers were transported to the military base at the Le Pyin gunpowder factory at the entrance of Lone Hkin village. 12 fatalities.
