On 26 April 2026, in Maw Taung town (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped two 250 lb bombs with fighter jets two times in the morning and in the afternoon which fell and exploded in the No.1 ward and No.9 ward. 2 houses were damaged. Casualties unknown.
