On 25 April 2026, the Malian army claimed to have conducted airstrikes against armed militants on motorcycles (likely JNIM, based on location), located west of Kolokani (Kolokani, Kolokani, Koulikoro). The airstrikes resulted in the neutralization (meaning killing) of over 100 militants and the destruction of their logistics.
